In Remembrance of Those We Lost To Senseless Gun Violence – Virtual Event
This annual virtual event is presented as a safe space for those who have lost loved ones due to senseless gun violence to openly discuss their loss and honor their loved one.
Its creation was spurred on by the loss of 19 year old Kendrick Isaiah Woods. He was an aspiring recording artist and part-time college student who was killed on December 2, 2017 by a former high school classmate as he entered a friend’s house with his buddies to play video games. His accused killer, also 19 at the time, is awaiting trial for this crime which has thrown multiple families into emotional turmoil.
